Azurite (AZ)
The most important resource in the game. How to unlock it, boost production, and why the monthly AZ card is the best buy at C30.
On this page
Azurite opens at castle level 30 and becomes the most important resource in the game. Every castle upgrade and technology level after that needs it, so learn how to boost your AZ mine.
Production with and without buffs
Here's how much the buffs stack up on the same mine:
| Setup | Production / hour | Capacity |
|---|---|---|
| No buffs | 8.84 | 88.4 |
| Monthly AZ card + VIP | 18.01 | 180.1 |
| Monthly AZ card + VIP + post-Frenzy realm AZ buff | 19.21 | 192.1 |

After a Frenzy, your realm may get an Azurite output buff (see Realm buffs):

Unlocking the AZ mine
The mine is the first thing to unlock after you reach C30. It costs resources only:
| Resource | Cost (discounted) | Original |
|---|---|---|
| Food | 20,842,422 | 21,622,422 |
| Wood | 20,842,422 | 21,622,422 |
| Stone | 4,168,484 | 4,324,484 |
| Iron | 1,743,897 | 1,821,897 |
The monthly AZ card
Once you hit C30, this is the one item worth buying. The AZ mine makes 8 an hour, or 192 a day. The monthly Azurite card gives 90 AZ a day for 30 days for $19.99 USD, plus 10% more production.

- Check the AZ in other packages: your money usually goes further elsewhere, unless you're a big spender.
- Compare a $10 AZ pack with any other $10 package: you'll usually get more growth from the other items, again unless you're a big spender.
- Look at production with buffs, without buffs, and with the extra 90 a day from the card. That's what makes the monthly card so appealing.
Royal Challenge (RC)

Using RC to hide troops
RC can also hide troops during the Kill Event, because it isn't limited by your march size:
- Set one march for Ruins. This is your attack march.
- Send the rest of your troops to RC across the mud, ideally about 30 minutes each way.
- Cancel Ruins, then use that first march to attack. Or keep Ruins and go scout.
