Attack vs. defense stats
- When you send an attack, your attack stats are used.
- When others attack you, your defense stats are used.
Armor Special Stats, artifacts and achievements all come in attack and defense flavors, so switching builds quickly matters. For example, in Realm Invasion (RI), once you attack and take an objective, your defense stats are what count. While your attack is still animating, use your lord icon to switch to defense (needs a monthly card).
Fast Re-equip
The icon on the right side of the screen opens the menu; Fast Re-equip is at the bottom right. It's part of the monthly card benefits, and saves you going into each section separately.

- Switch between setups instantly. For example, attack with your attack gear, then switch to defense gear while the battle animation is still playing.
- It's also worth saving healing and recruiting presets.
- Without a monthly card, the achievement quick bind is still free. See Achievements.
Batch healing
Instead of healing every troop in the hospital at once, heal in smaller batches so you get the most alliance help. There's a daily cap on how much help you can receive, but it's better than nothing.

Guardian Force (Angel Dust)
Besides basic materials, angels need angel dust, which is what most people call it. Its official name is Guardian Force. It comes from deaths of T5 and above (excluding angels). Troops that didn't die and are in the hospital don't count.
- Check the Details section to see your daily limit.
- You can only collect so much a day, so make some dust daily.
- You can raise the daily cap and the conversion ratio in research.

Hospital cap (wounded)
You can check your wound cap in several places, including the Drill Grounds and the Hospital itself.
Raise the limit by upgrading the Hospital and your Medic Tents. See Inner Castle Layout.

Drill Grounds
There's more to the Drill Grounds than your wounded count. Upgrading it expands your march size.
Under the Marching Army section you can also save preset marches. See Formations for what to save.
Monster hunting & scroll fragments
- Monsters from level 26 to 35 drop scroll fragments.
- Fragments are capped at 50 a day, so there's no point killing more monsters once you've hit the cap. Save your stamina potions for another day.
- The middle of the monster battle report shows how many pieces you've collected toward the daily limit.
- The report is also a good place to watch the battle replay (the green play button) and see how your formation attacks, or walks and wastes time.
